Warm Up:
Hack With Agents by Google Cloud
(online)

What: This workshop will introduce you to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). GCP offers key services for building products – compute (Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine), data (BigQuery, AlloyDB, Storage), AI/ML (Vertex AI, Gemini), and web/mobile (Firebase).  During the hackathon the GCP will be available for free. 

When: June 19, 2025

For whom: Anyone (including non-hackers!) with a good understanding of core genAI concepts and comfortable with a programming language like python.

Registration: Registrations are managed by Google Cloud.

Preparation: Pre-reading will be provided to registrants by Google experts. 

HACKER TRACK
for students

What: Tackle one of the real-world legal challenges. Develop your solution and compete for prizes. Plenty of hackathon tools will be made available. 

When: June 20-22, 2025

For whom: Students (all backgrounds, any university)

Registration: Register either individually or with team members known to date. At latest, teams will be formed/finalised during the pre-hackathon drinks (one day before tha hackathon).

Preparation: No prior preparation is needed. 

Code: You’ll need to develop the solution on the hackathon day and make the code open-source.

Presentation: You’ll pitch to a panel of organisers (academics) and major sponsors (law/tech firms).

Deadline: Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled.

STARTUP TRACK
for entrepreneurs

What: Pitch your existing solution.

When: June 21, 2025

For whom: Founders, professionals, or students with existing LegalTech projects (even if it’s just PoC).

Registration: Register with your team.

Preparation: Prepare your demo, slides and pitch in advance.

Code: You’ll only need to submit your slides. You won’t need to reveal your code.

Presentation: You’ll pitch to a panel of investors, incubators, accelerators.

Deadline: Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled.

LIGHTNING TALKS CONFERENCE

What: The Conference features a series of 30-minute back-to-back “Lightning Talks” on LLMxLaw intersection from various perspectives: law firms, (legal)tech companies, academia and public sector.

When: June 21st, 2025

For whom: Students and interested public. Hackathon participants do not need to register separately.

Registration process: Non-Cambridge students 🌍

2.⁠ ⁠If approved, you’ll be emailed a conditional offer no later than late April
